Between Majors right now

Golf on BragSports is straight stroke play. Before a major tees off you pick three players, and their combined strokes across the four rounds is your score. Lowest total wins — there is no points system to learn and no fantasy scoring quirks to game.

A combined-odds floor stops you simply loading up on the three favourites, so a winning card usually means finding something further down the board. Picks close at the first tee time on Thursday, and a player who misses the cut takes the worst score of those who made it.

Games run across golf’s biggest weeks — the Players Championship in March, the Masters in April, the PGA Championship in May, the US Open in June and the Open in July — plus the Ryder Cup every second year. Between tournaments there is no game to enter, so the leaderboard from the last one stays up until the next tees off.

Events covered

  • The Players Championship (March)
  • The Masters (April)
  • PGA Championship (May)
  • US Open (June)
  • The Open (July)
  • Ryder Cup (biennial)

How it works

  1. 1What you pick: 3 players — A combined-odds limit applies — you can't stack only favourites.
  2. 2Deadline: Round 1 first tee time — Picks close once Thursday's groups go off.
  3. 3Scoring: Sum of strokes — Lowest combined total wins. Missed cuts take the worst-finishing score.
